1. Sucker Strike

Overseer: Zack Snyder

Writer: Zack Snyder and Steve Shibuya

Stars: Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens and Abbie Cornish

Release Date: March twenty-five, 2011

Genre: Action Imagination Thriller

What is it: A new girl is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an substitute reality as a dealing strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.

Why it should be good: Really hot and badass chicks using schoolgirl outfits and other skimpy clothes, with swords and guns, coupled with Snyder’s awesome visual sparkle? Yea, definitely count myself in. The trailer for this thing just appears completely awesome. From the style to the action, even the story (while seeming a lttle bit out there) seems cool. I’m beginning thoroughly enjoy Snyder’s work. If The Adjustment Bureau could be this year’s new Inception due to its mindfuck story, then Sucker Punch could absolutely be this year’s Invention meets The Dark night meets 300 meets Inglorious Basterds due to really style and epic excitement, yet dark tone with alternate realities. This movie just oozes style and badass-ness and I really can’t wait for what is certain to be an absolutely entertaining, unbelievable adventure.

Why it could suck: Snyder can be somewhat off his draw sometimes. While Watchmen was enjoyable, it did get somewhat boring. And Story of the Guardians is said to suffer from some pacing issues as well and has sketched mixed reviews from naysayers. Though to be rational to Snyder, he published neither of those videos, but is in charge of the writing (or at least screenplay) of the badass 300.

2. Sherlock holmes 2

Director: Guy Ritchie

Writer: Kieran and Michele Mulroney

Stars: Robert downey Jr, Jude Law, Noomi Rapace and Stephen Smolder

Release Date: December sixteen, 2011

Genre: Action Unknown

What is it: Mr holmes and dr watson and his sidekick Medical professional. Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Mentor Moriarty.

Why it ought to be good: I’m a large Mr holmes and dr watson enthusiast. The Doyle stories still stand as the best catalogs today. I love Sherlock holmes. He’s such a badass. And finally, a movie seems to have captured that pretty well. The first was one of the better portrayals of Sherlock I had seen. Rather than being described as a snooty, ‘proper’ and advanced Englishman, this individual was shown with all the rough edges that Doyle wrote him with. While the movie was indeed Hollywood-ized beyond nearly anything you’d find in the books, it was clearly a fun adventure and quite an enjoyable movie. Guy Ritchie is a very good filmmaker as well. Thereby, and my love for Sherlock, I am just very much eager to observe how Part 2 turns out, especially as they go head-to-head with Moriarty. Also, I’m desperate to see how well Noomi Rapace (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, etc) does in her The show biz industry debut.

Why it could suck: New writers. The original writers from the first aren’t coming backside instead Kieran and Michele Mulroney are taking over the job. So why don’t we see how they deal with it. Relatively new to writing, the two recently wrote Paper Man which didn’t fair so well with critics.

3. Dukun Activity 3

Director: Tod Williams

Writer: Christopher M. Landon and Michael Ur. Perry; characters by Oren Peli

Stars: Katie Featherston

Release Date: October twenty-one, 2011

Genre: Horror
